Thank you for dropping by my blog. I try and add content as and when I am able to - whether it is photography related or travel related - as I am passionate about both. To me, they are the two sides of a coin but I cannot really put my finger on to which one drives the other. Someday, it will become clear whether I travel to make pictures or my desire to make good pictures makes me travel.

My travel sojourns are a way of documenting my visits to a new place and hopefully they engage the reader from the time a plan was conceived to the time I return from the holiday, in an "easy-read"  mode. They are purely a daily journal of the things I did whilst on a holiday/ the food I ate/ the places I had been to/ the pictures that I made - to be able to recall, at will, when the memory starts to fade. Call it a Digital Diary!

I hope you are able to appreciate that the sporadic nature of updates to the Blog section is due to the fact that I hold a full-time job and work priorities will take precedence whenever I return from a holiday, thus taking a much longer time to publish a new post.

Thank you for your visit and hope you are able to make use of the information and some of the itineraries in your own holiday plans.

Since that holiday, trees had shed their leaves and the cold snap had gripped the country in it's throes, for a lengthy period of time....
